Position Description:

We are in the process of adopting the Seismic platform as part of a broader effort to automate our global client reporting and sales materials. We are seeking a Seismic technical specialist who will lead the continued implementation and improvement of our Seismic client reporting activities. If your skills include strong technical expertise, strategic thinking and planning, process improvement and management, and experience advancing automation capabilities, we would like to hear from you! The candidate should thrive in a fast paced environment, be highly collaborative and demonstrate strong leadership and project management skills.
The role will report to the Head of Marketing Operations, and will support all aspects of Marketing Operations & Live Docs management, including:
  • Provide mentorship, leadership, and direction for team motivated to learn how to improve the Platform
  • Develop long-term vision and strategy for Seismic reporting activities
  • Drive strategic prioritization of LiveDoc projects and management
  • Help develop project roadmaps and priorities based on end-user requirements, organizational strategic initiatives, and a deep understanding of marketing operations workflow
  • Partner with Global Marketing, Compliance/Legal, Product Strategy Group, and Client Management teams to coordinate ongoing process enhancements
  • Complete new projects and launches in a timely manner
  • Actively engage with marketing leadership to manage to budget expectations and present on project progress
  • Own the development and maintenance of global monthly and quarterly communications, including fact sheets, commentaries, and quarterly reports
  • Work with marketing team members on special tactical and strategic projects, including collateral development and process improvements.
  • Lead Seismic LiveDocs build, maintenance and enhancement projects (establishing templates and data feeds)

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of Seismic software experience
  • Advanced Seismic LiveDoc expertise, including SQL knowledge
  • 5+ years' experience in a marketing operations or product marketing function, preferably within the financial services industry
  • Ability to encourage, lead and cultivate high performing teams; ability to prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency with the entire Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong process design skills
  • Strong technical understanding of data-driven publishing and use of templates
  • Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills; experience managing programs or platforms with multiple business groups/users
  • Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic and tactical projects, delivering above average results in a high quality manner
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels, strong communication and presentation skills
  • Positive, self-starter with the ability to work under deadline pressure and handle multi-faceted initiatives
  • Critical thinking, analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving expertise
  • Strong desire for continuous improvement
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of coding desirable
  • Ability to effectively interact with development and data architects/engineering team; knowledge of data feeds and data engineering desirable
