Marketing Consultant, LPL Business Solutions Sales

Role Description and Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Consultant (MC), LPL Business Solutions, is responsible for the adoption, sales and growth of the LPL Business Solutions suite of services (Marketing Solutions, Administrative Solutions, CFO Solutions, and Technology Solutions) by LPL Financial affiliated financial advisors, institutions, and prospects. The MC is responsible for leading the digital marketing strategy, sales content development & strategy execution, and sales campaign marketing execution within our LPL Business Solutions sales organization.

Essential Functions:

  • This role will report to the AVP, Sales Operations
  • Creating and maintaining a positive culture that values high performance, collaboration, and transparency
  • Provide marketing and digital sales support, strategy, and tactics to increase adoption and growth of business solutions through data, testing & partnership with internal/external stakeholders including but not limited to:
    • IIS Marketing
    • Product Delivery of LPL Business Solutions
    • Sales Enablement National Sales, Business Consulting, and Business Development
    • STO
    • Sponsor Relations
    • LPL Business Solutions Community of Advisors
    • 3rd party agencies or consulting firms
  • Support sales consultations for Marketing Solutions through subject matter expertise and advisor facing interactions
  • Manage and support conference strategy, digital events (e.g., Podcasts / webinars, etc.), and follow-up execution
  • Implement lead generation, niche prospecting processes, segmentation and campaign execution.
  • Strong professional presence with the ability to interact with and influence peers, leaders, and reports
  • Conduct market research and utilize for sales positioning/efficacy/enablement.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communication, or related field.
  • 5 7 years experience in marketing and digital marketing. Work with small/mid-size businesses and financial services industry experience preferred.
  • Experience consulting and understanding challenges/opportunities of small business owners, Institutions, RIAs, and Large Enterprises Groups.
  • Strong presentation skills, experience and comfort working with internal stakeholders to drive a ONE TEAM on ONE MISSION CULTURE
  • Experience and comfort working with marketing and sales data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent project, time and priority management.
  • Ability to work in an agile and fast moving start-up environment
  • Ability to participate in sales consultations as digital marketing subject matter expert
  • Expertise in Salesforce CRM, Hubspot, and other digital marketing tools
  • Ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.
