Thats why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network the Navy needs.

As a Network Engineer on our team, youll work to build and architect the next-generation wireless network to support the warfighters of our country. Youll collaborate with subject matter experts, commanding officers, project, and program managers to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. Youll then share your expertise during the planning of acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms to supporting the acquisition of hardware, youll put your hardware and software talents to good use. You Have:

• 2+ years of experience in cellular, including 5G, NR, LTE, LTE-A Pro, Wifi and understanding of RF principles
• Experience in Massive MIMO fundamentals and design
• Experience in 3GPP, beamforming, PHY, and MAC
• Experience with software-defined networks (SDN)
• Experience with network function virtualization (NFV)
• Experience with troubleshooting via tools and scripts
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• HS diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience with telecommunications in a professional work environment or BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with deploying IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS
• Experience with Cloud infrastructure, including Compute, Network, Storage, and Backup
• Experience with scripting languages, including Python, Perl, Ruby, or Bash
• Experience in 5G edge computing applications
• Knowledge of Self Organizing Networks (SON), including distributed, centralized, and hybrid
• Knowledge of 5G network slicing
