    Overview

    East West Bank is seeking an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will support the Commercial Banking team. 

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinates corporate meetings, departmental functions including conference room reservations and setup for Monthly ALCO and Pricing Committee Meeting, Quarterly Correspondent Banking meeting, and regulatory examinations
    • Compilation of Meeting Materials: ALCO, Pricing Committee, Investment Committee
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to help with meeting minutes for various committees including the Asset Liability Committee and the Pricing Committee
    • Coordinates detailed travel arrangements at domestic and international level
    • Maintains office supplies inventory
    • Processing timecards
    • Processing expense reports
    • Processes and maintains correspondence, files, records and minutes, and performs other specific duties for management staff
    • Assist with Treasury invoices
    • Checking and distributing Treasury mail daily
    • Maintain Treasury files record includes filling, boxing, sending and managing our files record at Iron Mountain
    • Assist with mailing/FedExing, scanning documents, distributing documents (physically and electronically) and uploading files.
    • Additional duties as requested

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years plus related experience/Or training; ; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a corporate environment working with upper level management
    • Experience in a fast paced corporate environment working with executives, management, auditors, regulators, all levels of staff, outside clients
    • Well organized, detail oriented and resourceful to solve issues with minimal supervision
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
    • Ability to work efficiently and calmlyunder pressure in a fast paced environment
    • Professional and interpersonal skills when dealing with counter parties, employees, and executives.
    • Self-motivated and proactive
    • Ability to work independently
    • Strong verbal and written communication
    • Self-sufficient in time management and a self-starter
    • Flexibility in work schedule
    • Advanced abilities in Microsoft Excel, Power Point Presentations and Word, a plus
    • Demonstrated skills in conflict management
    • A Notary public
