The GlobalProducts team focuses on the development, delivery, and support of treasury,credit, trade finance, and liquidity management solutions and services to SVBsclients. Within this group, the Product Projects team is responsible for directingthe design, development, and implementation of new products, enhancements, andoperational improvements to meet strategic business and organizationalobjectives.
The BusinessImplementation Manager IV drives large, complex business initiatives to achievestrategic department and organizational objectives. These projects contain activities that mayspan functions, business units, companies, geographic regions, and cultures(e.g., international expansion). On suchprojects, this role is specifically responsible for driving (i) businessreadiness and go-to-market preparations on large complex projects with atechnology component (such as software development), and (ii) the end-to-endproject life-cycle, from inception to delivery, on business initiatives withlittle or no technology component (such as business diagnostics, processimprovements, market assessments, etc.).
This role requiresa background in business project management and/or change management, and itskey accountability is ensuring that (i) SVB is prepared to market launch and supportnew or changed products, services, and operational processes, and (ii) changesare scalable and comply with all appropriate guidelines, including but notlimited to SVB methodologies, regulatory compliance, risk management policies,industry standards, and best-practices.
Drivingmultiple large initiatives simultaneously, leveraging both Agile and Waterfallmethodologies, where appropriate, to achieve project objectives
Developsand provides deep domain expertise in SVBs products, systems, operationalprocesses, and clients needs and applies these to help steer strategicprojects, articulate scope, identify risks, and proactively mitigate them
Partnerswith senior management of the business community to identify and prioritizeopportunities to use process reengineering and technology to achieve the goalsof the enterprise; Drives creation of and/or changes to existing products, processes, procedures, work flows, andrelated documentation
Managesstatus reporting on assigned business initiatives and related communications toExecutives and other key stakeholders
Indelivery of business deliverables, engages and manages overall coordination of cross-functionalteams, including subject matter experts from various departments across theorganization (e.g., Product Management, IT, Operations, Compliance, InternalAudit, Servicing, Legal, Marketing, Sales, Training & Communication, Accounting,Finance, et.al.)
Designs, implements, andpractices large scale strategies in change management, risk management, vendormanagement, business continuity management, and business implementation management
Partnersclosely with Scrum Masters and Project Managers to ensure alignment of businessactivities with technical activities for effective, end-to-end change implementationand an optimal client experience
Actsas an advocate for all business stakeholders within the lifecycle of a project,ensuring that their needs are understood and addressed in advance of launch
Facilitatesworking sessions, vendor meetings, project team meetings on businessinitiatives, and attends scrum stand-ups and/or technical meetings whereappropriate to drive business initiatives and/or business readiness
Partnerswith Compliance, Internal Audit, and other departments to: respond toexaminations and audit requests, manage execution and implementation of actionplans, and ensure all processes and changes implemented fully comply withapplicable regulations and legislation, standards, policies, and guidelines(e.g., BSA, AML, SOX, PCI-DSS, ECOA, et.al.)
Collaborateswith Legal, Product, Compliance, Credit, Product Training & Communications,et.al. on the creation of and updates to legal agreements and otherclient-facing materials
AssistsProduct Managers, as needed, in assembling and authoring business cases andestimating project costs and benefits (ROI, etc.); on large, complex business initiatives, mayalso assist in shepherding projects or change requests through the approval andprioritization process
Collaborateswith Change Management Practitioners and Product Training & Communicationson internal communications, client communications, training plans, and client-facingsales and support materials
Managesbusiness readiness preparations including process engineering; sales,operations, and servicing preparations; internal and external training andcommunications; system configuration implementation (business set ups);coordination of User Acceptance Testing (on waterfall projects), etc.
Developsbusiness roll-out / go-to-market plans, including managing client pilots andclient migrations
Drivesand ensures completion of required post-launch activities, such aspost-mortems/lessons learned, and measuring benefits-realization after projectcompletion
Assistsin negotiating conflicts and prioritizing business priorities under conditionsof limited resources and competing demands
Collaborateswith operational teams and client support as needed to resolve issues in atimely and effective manner
