We have an exciting opportunity in our Internal Audit.

The Internal Audit function provides the Bank with objective and independent assurance services. We work to support the Bank in its mission and help it achieve its objectives through proactive risk management. We have an exciting opportunity in our Internal Audit group for Senior Internal Audit Associate. The Senior Internal Audit Associate will be responsible for executing moderate to complex operational or regulatory internal audits including performing risk assessments, developing audit scope and audit programs, executing audit programs, and working independently, as well as assisting with ad-hoc and department administrative projects. The Senior Internal Audit Associate will also develop formal written reports to communicate audit results to management and make recommendations as appropriate. They will need to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine the appropriate action(s).

Responsibilities:

•Execute operational and regulatory internal audit programs to address relevant risks

•Effectively manage project budgets to meet assigned initiatives

•Assess new, or changes to existing, processes to identify operational, financial and regulatory risks and recommending improvements

•Prepare formal audit reports to document audit scope and findings

•Interpret the significance of audit findings, conclude on findings and make practical recommendations

•Effectively communicate with process owners and be a good representative of the Internal Audit department

Qualifications

•BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics

•2-5 years of related professional experience

Preferred:

•Pro-active, high energy and strong interpersonal skills with a team-focused attitude, demonstrating the ability to collaborate and compromise while building effective relationships

•Ability to professionally and competently represent the internal audit department when interacting with all levels of company staff

•Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills for the purpose of writing audit findings and recommendations, identifying risks and performing internal control assessments

•Ability to understand and communicate highly complex issues to different audiences supported by a strong understanding

•Ability to navigate through ambiguity and accepting ownership and accountability of the process and deliver on commitments

•Big 4 experience a requirement, CPA or CIA preferred

•Financial services industry experience preferred
