Insights & Data Engagement Manager - Hi-Tech - San Francisco

This senior strategy professional will lead engagementworkstreams based on Capgeminis Insights Driven Organization framework.  This is a highly visible role withinCapgemini that will interface with clients to lead engagements and to deliverfuture state business architectures and transformation roadmaps for ourclients. The Senior Manager will lead the delivery of projects frominception through completion.

This Senior Manager role sits withinour Insights & Data organization - which combines ourpioneering work to date on big and fast data, with a new insights-focusedapproach

Responsibilities include:

Youll spend most of your timemanaging client engagement teams, working with a wide variety of clients todeliver professional services, and managing business development activities onstrategic and global priority accounts

  • Presenting strategicguidance and roadmaps for C-level and Executive clients in Digital Strategy
  • Creating unique andinnovative structure and ideas for broad-based industries to improve and createa cutting edge technological framework
  • Delivery of BusinessStrategy, Organizational Transformation, Operations Improvement/Turnaround,Change Management projects
  • Motivating and leadingteams of Capgemini and client staff
  • Buildingand managing internal and external relationships at all levels within anorganization
  • Maintaining budgetsand oversee contracted service
  • Meeting all service level agreements, KPIs, and all administrative duties in a collaborative environm
  • Developing and delivering formal presentations to senior clients in both delivery and sales situations

Reports in these aspects to the local or remote EngagementDirector.

·       In case of remote reporting relationship, maintains a localreporting for all other areas e.g. people matters, disciplinary actions,  

 Role requirements include:

The idea candidate has a blendof experience in both Management Consulting and Business Intelligence/Analytics/Data Science to be able work with clients to identify and frame theirbusiness problems, then architect solutions.

Management Consulting Skills:

  • Deep Demonstrated experience interacting with Hi-Tech, CxO and Executive Level clients
  • Identify and take the lead in major pursuits resulting in new or additional business
  • Recognized both internally and by clients for providing effective relationship and commercial management in complex delivery and sales environments
  • Clearly recognized for delivery and subject matter leadership
  • 10+ years of experience leading consulting programs/engagements within Data Analytics or Business Intelligence environments and 5+ years of experience leading consulting engagements   
  • Ability to think big picture strategy to effectively assess clients situation and assemble service solutions to meet clients needs 
  • Proactive leadership style, focused on driving client thought leadership as well as developing next tier consulting leaders, including mentoring, development and team growth plansComfortable within a consulting led sales model
  • Architect innovative solutions which delivers value to clients whilst handling internal risk
  • Use the appropriate range of Capgemini capabilities to bring value to clients
  • Able to lead and guide clients into thinking about the overall business change and deployment agenda   
  • Flexible about work content and location and able to work independently on client site
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, results-drivenenvironment 
  • Experience leading pursuit teams for RFP responses and fordelivery projects of strategy recommendations
  • Bachelors Degree required; MBA/ Masters preferred

Technical Skills and Experience

  • Experience in BusinessIntelligence and Analytics, Data Warehouse, Big Data, Master Data Managementand/ or Content Management at a leading consultancy organization. 
  •  Understanding ofCloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google)
  • Deep understanding of technology trends in the Data Analytics/Data Science/Big Data domain
  • Exposure to leading Data Integration, Analytics, andVisualization Tools such as Informatica, Talend, SAS, Tableau, Qlikview, and PowerBI.
