Better requires process, discipline, and simplification
We'll be looking to you to assess business needs while providing creative solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards.  You will interface and collaborate with other engineers in geographically distributed development centers.  You will estimate engineering effort, plan implementations and roll out applications with cross-functional impact.  You will define, design and implement complex, multi-tier distributed software systems throughout all phases of the software development process. 

Ideally, you will have a degree in Computer Science or related fields with 10+ years of professional experience or an MS with 8+ years of experience.  You will have experience in Java/J2EE, XML, Web Technologies and Web Services as well as experience developing data-ingesting applications using an industry standard RDBMS.  You will have experience with HTTP, XML, JSON, NodeJS and Javascript.  You will have experience with developing services on Cloud, preferably AWS, and well versed with the relational and NoSQL database usage".   You will have experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks.  You will have hands-on experience in building high performance and large-scale real-time systems that scale to billions of transactions per day.
