Right now, we are seeking Sr. Managers (Leaders), Customer Analytics, based at Western Union's global headquarters in Denver, Colorado. Senior Managers (Leaders), Customer Analytics
for Western Union (Denver, CO) - Discussions with business leaders to address a particular question or insight which could inform a key decision. Interpret and translate simple and complex business issues into a problem that can be solved using traditional and innovative analytic techniques. Query large-scale relational databases, including Oracle, Netezza, Management of offshore resources in India to perform additional data querying tasks as required. Manipulate the data using advanced analytic techniques to solve omni-channel customer analytics concepts and themes. Responsible for presenting findings to both junior and senior-level folks in the organization. Engage with business owners to address and inform on topical and strategic issues. Work to setup experimental designs, measure impacts, inform future marketing spend allocation. Present analytic findings with WU Business Unit Leaders around pricing and network expansion.
Requirements include a Master's degree in Decision Science, Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or related; and 2 years progressive, post-Bachelor's experience as a Financial Analyst, or related occupation, which must include some experience with: statistics; experimental design (DoE) and consumer demand modeling; price elasticity analysis; CHAID; regression (logistic and OLS); principal component and factor analysis; time series analysis and forecasting; data extraction, transformation, and visualization using Tableau/Alteryx; working with Big Data using Snowflake, Oracle, Netezza, and HIVE; Statistical Programming and Proficiencies (R, Python, VBA, etc); and Data Migration between cloud and on-prem databases using Programming Languages, or ODBC/JDBC connections.
