The Marketing Associate is responsible for managing communications with the firm’s existing investors, maintenance of the firm’s investor and prospect database, and supporting the firm’s placement agent and CIO in the new investor process. The associate will also support PI’s broader business activities by cross-training in and supporting certain activities of other members of the PI team.

Job Purpose The Marketing Associate is responsible for managing communications with the firm’s existing investors, maintenance of the firm’s investor and prospect database, and supporting the firm’s placement agent and CIO in the new investor process. The associate will also support PI’s broader business activities by cross-training in and supporting certain activities of other members of the PI team. Duties • Manage communications with the firm’s investors, including leading preparation of the firm’s monthly investor newsletter, maintaining marketing materials, proactively maintaining dialogue with investors, and coordinating response to investor inquiries • Timely maintain the firm’s investor and prospect database in its CRM system • Maintain, in coordination with the firm’s placement agent, an investor pipeline • Support the CIO, other members of staff, and the placement agent in preparation for and coordination of meetings with prospective investors • Support onboarding of new investors in account opening at fund administrator, execution of subscription agreements, and review of results • Cross-train with and support other roles, such as the Director of Operations, to enhance the firm’s operational resilience and flexibility. • Ensure the firm positively distinguishes itself in the quality of its service to its current and prospective investors, including in its support of investors’ due diligence processes • Support the Chief Compliance Officer with regulatory filings • Develop, execute and maintain Investor Relations procedures Qualifications & Experience • Undergraduate degree or equivalent, preferably in finance or marketing • Relevant experience in a client-facing position in financial markets, preferably in hedge fund or other IA environment • Inquisitive and informed about the macroeconomic and geopolitical environments • Demonstrated organizational and task management skills from prior experience • Strong communication skills, personal initiative, attention to detail, and commercial judgment • Expertise with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint • Interest in joining a collaborative team
