Job Description
Broadridge is growing! We are actively seeking a Senior Production Technician to join our Equipment Maintenance Services department in our South Windsor, CT facility. In this role, you will work with the dynamic team to meet the Company's productivity standards and requirements. You will perform machine set up, adjustments and minor corrective and preventive maintenance on equipment on the production floor to ensure maximum availability and reliability.

This role is in our Customer Communications Division, which offers a full range of multi-channel communications solutions, such as integrated print, mail and digital solutions for transactional, marketing and compliance communications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with preventative and corrective maintenance as well as troubleshooting production-related equipment including printers, inserters, and mail sorting equipment.
  • Learning to read and interpret technical service bulletins and manuals to develop troubleshooting plans for problems.
  • Learning the skills required to resolve repairs and when to raise the issue to enlist the expertise of other staff, vendors, contractors or management to aid in resolving problems.
  • Cleaning equipment, tools, maintenance shop, and general work area to ensure a productive work environment.

We are seeking the following skills/experience for this position:
  • High School diploma or equivalent education and experience required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude is required.
  • Experience within a production environment with resultant knowledge of small machine repair is desirable.
  • Experience in the operation of high speed automated machinery experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to take direction and to work under pressure of time constraints necessary.
  • Problem-solving skills, including the ability to establish priorities.
  • Strong customer service skills and the desire to learn and grow with a great team
  • You demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment with various personality types to get the work done. Ability to relate well and show respect and consideration for others.
  • Ability to stand and work, lift, carry and move 25+ lbs if necessary throughout the duration of the assigned shift.
  • Other shop duties as assigned.

Shift: Day Shift, Monday-Wednesday & every other Thursday
