Position Objective:

Citi continues to set the benchmark for growth and achievement in the co-brand credit card space.  To maintain this trajectory, as an industry frontrunner, Citi has created the role of Business Analytics lead for Co-brand & New Product Development. This high visibility and strategic position will play a crucial role in driving increased engagement of existing customers across Citi's AT&T and Expedia credit card portfolios.  Additionally this person will develop new product analytics and segmentation which will sustain Citi's leading industry position.

Partnering with Marketing, Product teams, and other key functional areas, this person will drive the transformation of existing product based programs to extremely impactful customer centric strategies. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop and articulate analytical framework to solve business challenges
  • Extract actionable insights based on advanced analysis of customer behavior
  • Make recommendations for leveraging new tools/methods that transform the analytical capability of the organization
  • Understand Credit Card value prop implications and develop opportunity strategies
  • Ensure robust quality control in the analytical processes
  • Support the team during Internal Audit, Compliance Testing and external regulatory audits 
  • Develop and mentor junior analysts, especially around developing sound analytical approach to solve business problems
  • Cross functional leadership (communication and influencing) to drive towards common goal


  • Degree in quantitative discipline strongly preferred. (fields including but not limited to: Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics)
  • 5+ years of analytical work experience in financial services strongly preferred,
  • Experience in  data manipulation techniques, ideally SAS and/or SQL
  • Superb ability in strategic thinking and the ability to frame business problems
  • Strong analytical, technical and/or statistical skills with proven ability to translate large volumes of data into meaningful information and actions
  • A strong collaborator with a demonstrated ability to influence broadly and challenge conventional thinking. An influencer who communicates clearly and frequently to both technical analysts and non-technical business leaders
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with senior management required
