Job Description
Citrix Engineer/Architect solutions for complex tasks and environments. Will work with a broad set of team members focused on new product deployment into Cloud infrastructure and existing product support. Responsible for the design and implementation of Azure solutions monitoring configuration/deployments automation.

Participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Citrix SD-WAN
Citrix Workspace
CCP-V, CCE-V preferred
In-depth knowledge of the Citrix-Microsoft Desktop Virtualization Solutions (Citrix XenDesktop and Citrix XenApp
An Access Platform to access facilitation to other service components, provide authentication, proxy to hosted environments and VPN functionality
Supporting user queries and customer advices
Implementing global best practices in server operation
Configures new Citrix infrastructure components after installation
Providing reports of infrastructure performance
Cooperation with other teams towards problem resolution/avoidance
Participate in and / or lead projects consisting of inter- or intra-departmental employees in accomplishing daily tasks & long-term projects
Provides guidance to change management for changes related to Citrix infrastructure
Maintains relationships with other functional groups and provides subject matter expertise through appropriate team members as required
Maintains awareness of Citrix software patches and their impact on the environment
Implements Citrix software patches into the Production environment
Assists with the Incident and Problem management processes to resolve issues related to Citrix infrastructure
Coordinates resolution of issues around application suitability for Citrix
Deploy and support Azure resources (VM's, Azure Storage, Azure Recovery Service vaults), IaaS and PaaS in Azure using infrastructure as code
Automate routine tasks utilizing PowerShell
Automate routine task utilizing bash/zsh
Scripting using Python
Deploy Azure Automation through runbooks and webhooks
Manage various monitoring tools within Azure such as OMS and Site 24x7, security center, Ansible, Azure AD, ASR, and other various Azure solutions
Manage various backup tools within Azure including but not limited to Azure Backup and NetBackup
Create and maintain Kusto based language queries within OMS Log Analytics
Document policies and best practices
Create and maintain technical documentation for deployment and support procedures
Work on support escalations related to Azure-based tools
Knowledge on basic web based openAPI creation
JS powered back-end and frontend understanding
Capable to produce SPA using any JS framework
SQL query understanding and optimization
A high degree of professional confidence and credibility with the presence and communication skills to represent IT-related concepts effectively with executive-level management

Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people, such as engineers and non-technical coworkers
Moderate to extensive knowledge of general security practices
Self-starter with the ability to balance many tasks with changing priorities. Proven ability to handle a wide variety of tasks and successfully prioritize work
Strong decision-making skills. Able to analyze different options and make a clear recommendation
Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong Scripting (bash, PowerShell, Python, and other similar scripting languages)
Ability to integrate custom scripts/automation tools with REST APIs
Experience with CI/CD Pipelines
Reasonable comfort level using Git
Experience in managing production systems (Windows, Linux, Middleware)
Experience managing cloud environments
Ability to quickly adapt to changing technologies and learn new skills
IT/Server Administration background to interface with other IT professionals when discussing technical needs. Be able to translate those needs into monitoring solutions.
Understanding of Windows PowerShell
Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS

Minimum 2 years of experience working with Azure in a high-tech environment required.
Minimum 4 years of experience working with and support Citrix environments
Experience managing cloud environments
Experience integrating custom scripts/automation tools with REST APIs
Experience with CI/CD Pipelines
Experience in managing production systems ( Windows, Linux, middleware )
Experience with automation tools ( Ansible, Azure DevOps )
Design and deployment of Microsoft cloud technologies including Azure and OMS
Experience with platform technologies to include, Compute, Storage, Network, Software, Monitoring

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
