Overview

Are you interested in emerging technologies and the changing landscape of financial services? The Ops 4.0 Digital Transformation team is looking for an Assistant Vice President who is able to work with a rich portfolio of strategic digital projects. You will guide stakeholders through capability definition, build versus buy decisions, tooling design and selection across a range of tools within the Ops 4.0 Digital Toolkit and facilitate exploration of new tools in the digital market where applicable. In this role, you will build an extensive knowledge on the frontiers of innovation which will need to be shared across Group COO, leveraging highly creative and innovative content which you will take part in building, maintaining, and presenting to stakeholders. You will interface with global stakeholders in Operations, Technology, Deutsche Bank Innovation Labs, Data Labs, Compliance and other infrastructure functions, as well as a diverse portfolio of vendors.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Work Digital Toolkit Lead and Ops 4.0 team to support the development of the Toolkit & Capability Model strategy, with a focus on the transition of the toolkit platform from beta to the first-generation platform-based tool of which you will provide ongoing support and oversight to ensure toolkit platform is working as expected, raising issues to the rightful technical platform owner where applicable

  • Act as the Digital Toolkit ambassador, with deep knowledge on strategic tools used within the Bank and relevant use cases across a variety of capabilities such as robotic process and intelligent automation, data ingestion and digitization, artificial intelligence & machine learning, and analytics and business intelligence

  • Collaborate with Ops 4.0 partners and strategic vendors to create and maintain content in accordance with pre-defined quality and design standards

  • Conduct analytical discovery exercises on new digital opportunities in accordance with pre-defined Ops 4.0 framework and tooling approaches and support assessments of new tools for tooling capability match

  • Facilitate stakeholder awareness & engagement sessions and materials on the toolkit and Ops 4.0 methodology


Your Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree level or equivalent qualification

  • Previous experience in financial services industry and/or business analysis at a global scale

  • Strong proficiency in the use and application of digital automation tools and/or analytics platforms, background in software development or SDLC a plus

  • Experience in FinTech or digitally native company a plus

  • Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
