Responsibilities

The Learning and Development Solutions Specialist is a hands-on, individual contributor for our Commercial Banking Training Team. This position has vast learning and development growth potential for the right candidate. This role could be based out of any one of three CIT offices; Jacksonville, FL, Livingston, NJ, or New York City, NY.

  • Partner with people/learning leadership on developing and facilitating program objectives, strategies, resourcing, and workplans across all Commercial Segments
  • Work with business partners and subject matter experts on various, simultaneous training deliverables
  • Perform needs analysis to determine appropriate course content and course delivery method (eLearning, instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, convert existing classroom content to online learning, blended learning, etc.)
  • Translate instructional concepts into innovative, interactive, one-of-a-kind learning solutions (eLearning, quick reference guides, user guides/manuals, course materials, etc., for various learning applications including technical system rollouts)
  • Design materials, practice systems, test equipment and facilitate various training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skillsets
  • Provide daily program administration and consultative design expertise on key learning associate development programs
  • Produce analytical strategies for measuring and assessing results of learning initiatives and implementing enhancements
  • Develop, organize, plan, and present various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for new employees
  • Perform administrative duties, as required, including maintaining training records in our learning management system
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, relationship development, and written communication skills to connect with all levels throughout the organization
  • Quick learner, agile, proactive, keen attention to detail, analytical, consultative in thought, self-starter, ability to multi-task and own a project from day one
  • Strong presentation skills to effectively present technical and complex information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees
  • Ability to extensively research and analyze training options/alternatives; providing recommendations
  • Extremely proficient with technical systems including Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn systems quickly

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, Instructional Design, or a related field
  • Banking, financial services, and/or call center experience
  • Knowledge of basic business, banking terminology/concepts, federal regulations, commercial banking products, policies, and/or operating procedures
  • Experience developing creative and impactful learning programs, courses and content (eLearning, virtual classroom, instructor-led, and other learning delivery methods)
  • Articulate 360 Suite (Storyline, Rise) or other multimedia training development platforms experience
  • Cornerstone On Demand or other learning management system experience
  • Virtual meeting familiarity (WebEx, Zoom, etc.)
