Overview

Compliance is seeking an Assistant Vice President to lead our Employee Support Department. You will be expected to lead a team that monitors, investigates, reviews, and approves personal employee trading accounts, trade requests, outside business interests, and private investment transactions. The team is also required to perform surveillance of employee trading accounts and activity to detect violations of the Bank's trading policies.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the run-the-bank processes and teams relating to personal account dealing, outside business interests, and employee compliance attestations for the Americas region
  • Review high volume of employee trading alerts flagged as potential violations of the employee trading policies via Actimize Case Manager; apply knowledge of industry and policies to each and every alert to determine if there is a potential violation
  • Review and approve employee requests for outside business interests, private investment transactions, brokerage accounts and political contributions
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly key metrics pertaining to Jacksonville Employee Support Group activities
  • Escalate and communicate clearly, both written and orally, with peers and managers regarding issues encountered, questions, and any data irregularities
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all employee compliance related policies and key operating procedures (KOPs)


Your Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with relevant experience in a Compliance/Employee Support models
  • Experience of process management and design and people management/team leadership
  • Ability to interact with Infrastructure and other appropriate groups in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to identify, escalate, and communicate issues to management in an effective and succinct manner
  • Prior experience in approving personal trade requests, outside business interests requests, and private investment (experience with Actimize is a plus)
