TIAAs Enterprise Privacy Program is responsible for the development and administration of an enterprise-wide Privacy Program. The Privacy Program and Governance Officer is responsible for developing, overseeing, and driving privacy governance and partners with Compliance, Risk, Regulatory Supervisory Affairs, and the other privacy officers in developing necessary policies and standards with documented controls, and establish regulatory engagement models and training for stakeholders. The Privacy Program and Governance Officer develops and maintains strategies, frameworks, policies, and processes to support the Privacy Office and coordinates with internal privacy partners on policy/strategy. This role interacts with internal business partners relating to first line-of-defense controls and with control functions colleagues relating to second line-of-defense activities. Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop privacy impact assessment processes and procedures in partnership with Privacy Compliance Officer and the Business Privacy Officers Prepare privacy reports on a regular basis for the Chief Privacy Officer including an annual assessment of the progress and status and overall health of the Enterprise Privacy Program Assess and determine best technology tools to support the Enterprise Privacy Program Monitor and in partnership with the Privacy Compliance Officer develop process for regulatory changes Oversee the drafting and maintenance of all Privacy Program SOPs, policies, and guidance Review on an on-going basis and update as necessary all privacy policies and related standards Oversee privacy issues with mergers/acquisitions
. QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED:
- BA/ BS - Minimum 3 years experience in either Banking, Financial Services or Technology industry PREFERRED:
