The Client Services Manager establishes, maintains and strengthens client relationships via the delivery of a seamless and comprehensive service model.

OVERVIEW

LJ Investment Advisors, LLC ("LJIA") is an SEC-registered Investment Advisory firm which, together with its affiliates in Miami, London, Geneva, Lisbon and Hong Kong, is dedicated to providing unbiased wealth management and investment advice to private individuals, family offices, charitable foundations and institutions. LJIA and its affiliates have a deep repository of knowledge on the specific needs of our clients and have developed an optimal structure to address them.

This key position establishes, maintains and strengthens client relationships via the delivery of a seamless and comprehensive service model. The successful candidate will exercise independent judgment and leverage prior industry experience to serve as an integral point of contact for various mission-critical functions including, but not limited to:

  • Onboarding of new client relationships
  • Assisting clients with activities concerning their custodian accounts
  • Trade execution/Portfolio implementation
  • Support relating to client investments in alternatives (hedge funds, private equity, etc.)
  • Periodic performance reporting
  • Project management/ad hoc service requests

Additionally, this position will work collaboratively with various functional groups within the organization to foster efficient communication and to ensure the highest possible caliber of client service.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Management or Finance
  • 3-5 years client-facing experience with a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) or other financial services institution
  • Solid understanding of a variety of investment products, alternative investment structures and overall financial industry landscape
  • Superlative organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Follow-through and deadline driven
  • Superior interpersonal skills and professional presence; ability to quickly build and maintain credibility with clients and among internal stakeholders
  • Self-motivated; ability to take initiative and be comfortable working on and prioritizing multiple projects
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with industry-standard portfolio/client management platforms [Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX), Black Diamond, etc.] preferred
  • Series 7 and 63/65 or 66 licenses preferred
  • Proficiency in Spanish a plus
  • Authorization to work in United States without present or future requirement for sponsorship
