The Challenge:

Do you want to develop training that will transform the Navy? You know that even the best tools and processes cant have impact without the right training. Constructing an interactive course that teaches critical information requires a real passion for understanding the needs of your customer. We have an opportunity for an instructional designer who is committed to solving some of the toughest challenges in national security by crafting effective education.

On our team, youll work with SME and senior Navy leaders to capture your customers training needs and advise them on the right learning solution to help them accomplish their mission. Youll be able to build your leadership skills as you share your expertise through leadership and mentoring. As a leader, youll identify new opportunities to build solutions to your customers learning needs. This is a chance to use your deep understanding of training methodologies to build a creative learning experience that will engage students. You Have:

• Experience with implementing the Navy's Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) program, improving Sailor performance, and enhancing mission readiness
• Experience with creating a learning continuum across a Sailors career to ensure the right training delivery methods are in place
• Knowledge of training delivery options that increase training effectiveness
• Ability to adapt to the shifting needs of the Fleet, while also integrating new technologies wherever possible to accelerate learning
• Ability to summarize, analyze, and edit content, including delivering complex written and graphical training products
• Knowledge of how the Navy operates and the missions it supports
• Ability to align training with Deck plate needs and to meet real-world work requirements in the Fleet
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required
• BA or BS degree required

Nice If You Have:

• Experience as a learning administrator with a Learning Management System
• Knowledge of military terminology
