Position Overview

The Client Fulfilment team works within MASS to oversee and lead the implementation of whole portfolio engagements and similar assignments. Rooted in BlackRock's longstanding culture of objective problem-solving, the Client Fulfilment team collaborates across the firm to ensure an outstanding client experience and ensure consistency across the range of investment services.

We are seeking a candidate to join the Client Fulfillment team in Atlanta. The role will require partnership with numerous commercial, investments and operational teams in order to best coordinate and support fast-paced growth of the platform. A successful team member will be someone, who is curious, innovative, challenges the status quo and a problem solver.

  • Lead sophisticated portfolio design and implementation; ensure that the client set-up conforms to the high standards of the BlackRock operating platform
  • Apply portfolio strategy views to legal documentation through drafting guidelines for investment management agreements and instruction letter
  • Design and coordinate recurring portfolio management, data management, reporting and related processes across BlackRock teams
  • Participate in client calls and communications as a subject matter authority on operational details and specific implementation plans
  • Communicate implementation plans to clients and internal teams through written and verbal communications; responsible for resolving client requests regarding operational and data aspects
  • Craft and handle both custom and standard reporting; provide oversight for the report production process

  • 3-5 years of asset management or financial services experience, preferably across multiple asset classes and investment subject areas
  • Understanding and/or ability to learn various investment types - including fixed income, derivatives, alternatives, equities, etc.
  • Outstanding relationship management skills to build and maintain collaborative partnerships regionally. Have strong interpersonal, organizational and influencing skills, ability to engage partners, to understand change readiness, balance differences and build consensus;
  • Inclination for process design, able to handle various projects simultaneously, remain calm when multi-tasking
  • Will be an excellent verbal and oral communicator, capable of articulating complex problems in a simplistic manner.
  • Experience working both independently and as part of a team in a highly collaborative, global environment
  • Knowledge of eVestment, Morningstar, Bloomberg, Tableau, VBA, SQL, and/or Python is an advantage
  • Strong interest to learn about and use Aladdin; a familiarity with Aladdin a plus
