Job Purpose (Job Summary):  Invesco is seeking to hire a Senior Client Portfolio Manager (CPM) for Invesco’s Structured Investments team.  The Senior CPM will be an integral part of the existing CPM team with responsibility for representing the structured investment team and asset class in client meetings and leading all business-related matters. This position requires prior experience with ABS, MBS, or CMBS products, portfolio analysis, investment product development and distribution, along with identifiable talent for communicating with clients and large audiences.
 
Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Client-related Interactions:
    - Build and maintain credibility as subject matter expert for Structured Investments
    - Articulate to Invesco sales teams and clients how the macroeconomic backdrop, asset class trends and financial market developments impact portfolios
    - Engage with PMs and Analysts to maintain and be able to communicate a detailed understanding of portfolio holdings, positioning, activity, and performance
    - Liaise with sales force to ensure timeliness and high-quality standards for client meetings are met
    - Respond to internal and external client inquiries; author blogs, white papers and contribute to other forms of thought leadership including media
  • Business-related Functions:
    - Prepare and execute asset class specific business plan
    - Work with market data research teams to analyze and articulate competitive landscape and industry trends
    - Monitor assets, including pipeline of opportunities and investment flows
    - Drive the development and launch of new products/vehicles
    - Work with marketing and thought leadership teams to map and execute external communication plan
  • Interact effectively with Invesco’s internal teams:
    - Assist in formulating responses to RFP/RFI questionnaires
    - Guide content creation for client presentation and marketing materials
    - Utilize risk and performance attribution data to develop portfolio commentaries
    - Communicate portfolio/asset class themes to sales
    - Interface with legal & compliance for fund or separate account related tasks

Work Experience / Knowledge:

·        10+ years of prior work experience in investment management or financial services

·        Prior experience with structured products (ABS, MBS, CMBS, etc.)

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint

Formal Education:

·        MBA, CFA, or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or Economics

License / Registration / Certification:

·        FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses or commitment to complete in required timeframe

 Working Conditions:

·        Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
