Nuveen Shareholder Services is a multi-functional team which supports Nuveens multi-product Distribution and Product teams. Candidate will support Shareholder Services managers in multiple roles with the functions necessary to ensure quality service delivery across the department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Assist in effecting corporate actions such as fund launches, mergers, liquidations, tenders, pricing and policy changes.
Assist with coordination of product management initiatives with the Funds various service providers and industry business partners such as DTCC, Cusip and Nasdaq as well as communication and support of Nuveen Financial Intermediary back office and Corporate Actions Department partners
Assist in the oversight and enforcement of Fund policies reporting issues or violations to senior management and Funds Chief Compliance Officer
Assist with necessary operational requirements associated with new intermediary relationships onboarding and new fund launches
Provide support in creating new fund cost estimates as well as projecting pro-forma proxy expenses
Provide support in all aspects of shareholder proxy solicitation and tabulation
Provide accurate shareholder meeting results for publishing
Assist with the oversight of service providers responsible for production of shareholder regulatory communications
Assist in management of fund expenses preparing expense allocations and oversight of accurate billing and cost analysis/estimates
Maintain analytical data regarding fund shareholders: number of beneficial shareholders and electronic adoption rates
Assist with oversight of the regulatory documents on Nuveen.com and third party repository
BS or BA degree in related field
Two (2) or more years financial services experience
Demonstrated skills with MS Office Suite and ability to quickly review, analyze, comprehend and summarize large data sets
Experience in financial services industry specifically 40 Act Funds transfer agency and/or proxy services
Ability to collaborate with a team
Ability to prioritize tasks
