This position is a higher-level Credit Review team member engaged in the Unit Review process and other supplemental duties that Credit Review engages in. Work principally revolves around assessing the credit worthiness of obligors/exposures through the review of various internal and external documents that address the business performance of a borrower/exposure. The position will typically be handling more complex credit situations.
Essential duties include review of financial statements, analyzing and comparing various performance metrics of a borrower against regulatory and internal risk rating guidelines/models, assessment of the sufficiency of risk identification and credit management by the respective lender/unit, development of thoughtful, well organized and on point analyses of the pertinent risk issues. Discussion of same with the lender and, potentially unit management, in order to reach an accurate final risk assessment used to compile the overall assessment of the unit being examined. All underlying work is documented in a standard workpaper format with appropriate substantiating material.Qualifications
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
Seeking 3-5 years of direct credit experience possibly as either a Commercial Lender and/or Commercial Credit Analyst which provides a broader exposure to credit related financial ratios and associated credit analysis techniques. Should possess professional level written and oral interpersonal skills.
