Your role.

  • Practice and staff leadership responsibilities
  • Accounting and financial projects for clients experiencing significant change/transition including M&A and other events
  • Assisting our clients with all aspects of financial management and reporting including financial and accounting function transformation
  • Assisting clients with external financial auditors, audit prep, technical accounting issues, financial statement policies, presentation and disclosures
  • Providing financial technical, management and staffing support to entities
  • Assisting client with implementation of technical accounting engagements
  • Assisting clients acquisition related accounting matters including working capital adjustments and related settlement issues
  • Formal business development (prospecting to close) in a team supported environment

The qualifications.

  • Bachelors degree is required
  • CAMS or CRCM  highly preferred
  • 10+ years of accounting/finance experience in either:
    • Public Accounting or Financial Consulting
    • Corporate setting with a revenue base of at least 50M
  • Professional Services experience is a plus
  • Experience with Financial Institution Regulatory Compliance (Regs A-Z), AML and BSA
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute own work on time and within budget
  • Ability to engage in client expansion contributing in fees sold; recognizes importance of lead generation
  • Self-starter; ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Strong budgeting skills
  • Juggle multiple client demands
  • Complete projects within budget while delivering high quality
  • Balance client, practice development, and administrative demands
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to
  • Promote positive working relationships with diverse personalities/roles at all levels in the firm
  • Explain and interpret accounting/financial information to non-financial people
  • Ability to coordinate information flow with multiple sources (Client management, team, staff, etc.) and interact with client personnel, grasp key issues, diagnose situations, and identify client needs
  • See both the big picture and the details
  • Identify uses of technology to improve client deliverables and/or assessment efficiency
