POSITION SUMMARY:

The Internal Advisor Services Representative, in partnership with the Nuveen territory sales team, will build and develop productive long-term advisor relationships.

The IAS Representative fulfills Nuveen Investments' Mission, to secure the long-term goals of our
clients and the advisors who serve them, by demonstrating the following duties and responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Answer advisor customer inquiries via telephone or electronically about US and Global investment solutions (both packaged products and customized managed accounts.)
  • Utilize sales and marketing materials to build advisor relationships and support our products and provide detailed feedback to the appropriate internal and external Advisor Consultant
  • Proactively contact advisors regarding our various investment solutions, marketing campaigns, and initial public offerings including packaged products and customized separately managed accounts.
  • Provide detailed feedback and quality leads regarding advisor communications to the appropriate internal or external Advisor Consultant.
  • Via the telephone, assist external Advisor Consultants in scheduling branch and Financial Advisor (FA) office meetings, seminars, and due diligence conferences.
  • Perform territory sales team duties while Internal Advisor Consultant is absent.


QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Undergraduate degree in business or finance and/or industry experience.
  • Service and sales orientation are a must
INTERPERSONAL/COMMUNICATION/LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Service orientation with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly.

MATHEMATICAL/ANALYTICAL/REASONING SKILLS:
  • PC skills required.
  • Basic math skills essential
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Series 7 required (within 3 months of employment)
  • Required Series 63 and 65 or 66 within six months of employment.
