North America Customer Marketing Manager (Chicago)

As North America Customer Marketing Manager, you will help communicate the CME Group Customer value proposition to an active, individual investor audience, and develop campaigns that support a prospect's path to trading futures.

A Multi-Channel Marketer: with experience developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention

A Storyteller: who can differentiate CME offerings with engaging content conveyed via thoughtful design, creative and content

A Change Agent: who assesses and challenges the status quo, and positions innovative ideas to internal and external stakeholders

YOU WILL...
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive marketing tactics and content including whitepapers, collateral, case studies, emails, and social media to reach the right audience at the right time - moving them successfully through the purchase funnel
  • Develop, test and optimize messages and campaigns across integrated marketing channels
  • Provide marketing support to the Sales team for client expansion and upsell
  • Partner with Business Line Marketing Managers to support audience-driven product campaigns
  • Attend client events and trade shows / own the North America event strategy
  • Partner with brokerage firms to create marketing tactics and metrics reports, using data to inform decisions to drive customer acquisition growth

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Director of Retail Marketing to guide the marketing plan for Retail across North America
  • Delegate to and work closely with a Marketing Execution Specialist
Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years' experience in a marketing role
  • Superior communication skills, strong attention to detail, a collaborative work style, and an unparalleled work ethic; collaboration across teams is crucial to success in this role
  • Experience with interpreting marketing analytics

Reporting Structure
This individual will report to the Director of Retail Marketing and requires close collaboration with colleagues in APAC and EMEA

Education
Bachelor's degree in business related field required, MBA a plus
Background in the financial services industry a plus, but not required

Certifications
None

Software Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Sales Force, Pardot and Google Analytics

Scheduling, & Location Requirements
Ability and willingness to travel to client events up to 15%
