Cboe Global Markets is looking for a Marketing Manager to support its proprietary options and futures products. This person will be responsible for understanding the derivatives market and how our products are used by investors in order to produce effective marketing collateral, campaigns, and sales support.
This person will join a team of Product Marketing experts who work together with business line leaders, partner with our communications colleagues, and build multi-channel campaigns with our Marketing Technology team and external advertising agency.
This role is new to the Product Marketing group and reflects an increase in focus on the retail investor audience. The marketing manager will join a group dedicated to increasing awareness of Cboes proprietary options and futures products through targeted education, marketing and advertising. In addition to developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, the marketing manager will build strong relationships with key retail trading platforms to educate investors about derivatives trading.
Support the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including strategy, content development, client segmentation, research, tracking, and analysis
Build relationships with key retail trading partner platforms to collaborate on educational, marketing and advertising initiatives that raise awareness and create deeper understanding of Cboes proprietary products
Collaborate with Cboes Options Institute to promote derivatives education via paid campaigns, organic social media, email marketing and retail trading partner relationships
Partner with senior leaders to create and enhance marketing collateral for Cboe propriety products, including website, video, print, and conference exhibit
Consult with the technology team to enhance digital and email marketing processes to increase efficiency and enhance the synergies between marketing and sales
Project budgeting, management and reconciliation for events, sponsorships and campaign management activities
Provide event planning support
Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or related field
Minimum of five years relevant work experience, preferably at a retail brokerage firm
Experience running effective multi-channel marketing campaigns for the retail investor audience preferred
Knowledge of the financial markets and investing strategies, specifically futures and options, a plus
Strong writing and editorial skills with the ability to translate complex subject matter into easily understood marketing and educational materials. Knowledge of derivatives a plus
Experience with marketing automation software (Pardot preferred), Salesforce, and Tableau a plus
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
Knowledge of social media and digital marketing strategy and platforms
Superior analytical and quantitative skills
