Your role

You’ll focus on developing inorganic growth strategies through mergers and acquisitions, partnering and alliances, enabling clients to enter new markets and channels as well as consolidate and leverage scale in existing markets.  Do you have the analytical and problem-solving skills plus the ability acquire a deep understanding of organizational objectives to tackle complex business issues? Do you have the Fortune 500 merger credentials to negotiate at C-suite level? Are you ready to lead teams and be inspired daily by smart, driven and diverse colleagues around the world?

You’ll lead and deliver complex client engagements in the global arena that identify, design and implement creative business and technology solutions for clients. Inputting the strategic direction of projects to establish goals and responsibilities, you’ll influence and negotiate at senior levels based on sound analysis, both internally and with clients, and make business decisions within and beyond your own area of impact. The role will entail managing large teams both at your home base and at clients’ sites.


Minimum: We’re looking for an MBA or an equivalent. Extensive experience at a consulting firm or investment bank, or in an internal consulting or finance role with a Fortune 500 firm, will have seen you deliver activity in at least one stage of the M&A lifecycle (pre- or post-merger). Detailed knowledge of the energy, life sciences electronic/high tech, product retail/manufacturing industries would usually be expected, although an understanding of utilities, consumer products, chemicals, financial services or natural resources will be considered. Evidence of your ability to identify and close sales opportunities is also required.

Preferred: You’ll have proved your leadership skills in building, managing and fostering a team-orientated environment, as well as in forging client relationships. The creative and analytical mindset to thrive in a problem-solving environment, comprehensive knowledge of capital development and an understanding of standard project management requirements will complete your profile.
