Mgr TPRM Supplier Risk & Performance
The Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) â€" Supplier Risk & Performance Manager will support the Director of TPRM in management of risks and performance for CME suppliers. The TPRM group works with the business contacts, Procurement, Technology, Global Information Security (GIS), BCP/DR, Legal, and Compliance to ensure CME third party risks and performance are managed and remain within CME’s risk appetite. This also includes process and technology improvements to make the management of Third Party risk and performance more efficient.
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Support the TPRM process and ensure risks are identified and documented appropriately
  • Partner with risk assessment teams and business owners to develop risk memos and remediation plans. This work will necessitate collaboration within Corporate Compliance and Legal departments including Contract Management, Information Governance and Privacy. Additionally, collaboration outside of the department, will be required including: Procurement, Technology, BCP/DR, Physical Security, and Global Information Security, among others.
  • Work with all stakeholders to agree on reasonable remediation actions and target dates. Manage issue remediation and provide regular status/reporting.
  • Manage risk exception process and coordinate business leader approvals
  • Develop and support reporting to indicate overall third party risk profile. Provide materials for quarterly reports and meetings on critical TPRM risks/issues.
  • Monitor third party risk tiering and process to continually monitor vendors based upon risk
  • Ensure third party risk assessment alignment with regulatory requirements, policies, and CME risk appetite
  • Ensure alignment on third party risk management processes across risk assessment teams
  • Assess third party performance according to risk tier
  • Drive process and technology improvement efforts

• Education: Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ years’ experience with Third Party Risk/Vendor Management
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience managing/remediating vendor issues
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Software Requirements: Knowledge of computer software (e.g. MS Office, Visio, MS Project) and ability to learn new software systems quickly

Preferred Experience
• Experience with Global, Risk, and Compliance tools (e.g. Archer)
• Project Management skills
