POSITION SUMMARY:

Nuveen is seeking highly motivated, analytical candidates with multi-faceted financial services experience for a Senior Financial Analyst position on the Nuveen Enterprise Reporting Team. The Enterprise Reporting team oversees financial consolidation for Nuveen and its affiliates across fixed income, equities, real estate and real assets.

The candidate will collaborate across Nuveen Finance and with Corporate Finance and other business partners to develop enterprise reporting and analysis for executive leadership and the Board of Directors. Candidates should be results-oriented top performers who thrive in an environment where initiative, creativity, maturity and enthusiasm for learning are highly valued.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
 

 Develop relevant and timely financial reporting for senior leadership

  synthesizing input from Nuveen business partners, and applying thoughtful

  perspective to ensure consolidated results are reasonable
 Liaise with Nuveen finance colleagues to facilitate the enterprise reporting

  process as well as TIAA finance partners for purposes of CEO and board

  reporting
 Maintain, enhance and streamline consolidation of key metrics across asset

  managers
 Craft corporate communication and executive presentations summarizing

  results across the organization
 Contribute to financial reporting and analysis distributed to rating agencies
 Apply an analytical approach to create ad hoc analysis for special projects
 Support various finance transformation and process improvements initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:
 Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year university
 Experience producing consolidated financial reporting, presenting storyline and

  differentiating key information
 Excel and PowerPoint experience
 5 plus years of experience in finance or accounting


Preferred:
 Strong presentation skills
 Fine attention to detail and ability to multi-task
 Creative problem-solving skills to frame business issues and improve process

  efficiency and effectiveness
 Proficiency using accounting systems (Hyperion, PeopleSoft, etc.) is preferred
 Preference for experience with an independent asset management firm or

  financial services business with a large asset management operation
 Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with

  ability to build productive working relationships across the organization
