POSITION SUMMARY:

The Advanced Analytics team, as part of the Business Strategy and Analytics group, is responsible for using cutting edge statistical and analytical techniques to drive distribution strategy, inform senior leadership decisions, and have a quantifiable impact on sales. This high visibility position straddles the dual responsibility of analyst and strategist, using data to create a competitive advantage while simultaneously utilizing keen business acumen to drive execution and results. We are shaping the future of distribution and are looking for bright, creative minds to join us.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

 

 

  • Use your creativity and entrepreneurship skills to understand new ways of finding impactful insights from limited data sets
  • Create statistical models to identify and uncover distribution opportunities
  • Use visualization tools to translate your findings in to executable strategies
  • Communicate your vision and findings to key stakeholders
  • Work with business leadership to identify potential areas of analysis and strategic direction

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None are required for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

 

 

 

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university or college; degree in Statistics, Mathematics or other quantitative discipline is preferred
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 5-7 years of analytical experience, with 3+ years of financial services industry experience preferred
  • CRM knowledge preferred

INTERPERSONAL/COMMUNICATION/LANGUAGE SKILLS :

 

 

  • Personal initiative
  • Ability to communicate complex information and analysis in written and graphical form
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in order to work collaboratively across multiple business units

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

 

 

  • Broad overall technical skill set
  • Expert MS SQL Server or similar
  • Expert in R or similar statistical platform
  • Experience with Tableau (server and/or desktop) or similar BI tool
