Associate Business Operations Analyst

As part of the Finance Process and Technology Solutions team, the Business Operations Analyst is responsible for execution and ongoing improvement of finance data management processes. The position will be critical in helping to drive scale and efficiency across multiple systems, groups and processes.

The Expertise We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in a finance/business discipline
  • Familiarity with business requirements analysis and MIS principles
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies is a plus

The Purpose of Your Role

The Finance Technology and Process Solutions group is a 13-person team located in Boston, MA and Westlake, TX. The goal of this group is to work with the Finance community across Fidelity and the technology teams within the Corporate Technology Group to drive business process improvements and maximize the value of technology investments. This role will support the effective and efficient business operational use of a variety of different systems and data sources. It requires the intellectual curiosity to proactively identify and solve problems, understanding of information systems, managerial finance, and accounting as well as flexibility, responsiveness to change, and the ability to work in a matrix/distance environment. Initial focus will be on the Finance Data Hub (FDH), Fidelity's integrated, enterprise wide source for reporting of customer assets and money flows as well as Finance's Cost and Profitability system, (FCAP) comprising multiple models covering each of Fidelity's financial services businesses.
