Business Analyst
Business Analyst (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Boston, Massachusetts ): will be responsible for leading the implementation of overall business architecture of the Credit Risk Systems. As a techno-functional SME, the position will liaise with project sponsors, developers, and other stakeholders both on the business and technical teams to convert the business architecture first into a functional solution and subsequently develop the same into a well-integrated Credit Risk solution. The individual must be able to work under minimal direction while keeping senior business and technology management apprised of issues and project status. Specific duties include: Facilitating the development of business architectures based on the business vision; converting business architectures into technology architectures and corresponding implementation roadmaps at a program level; leading the technology transformation, ensuring smooth transition of stakeholders from current technology state to new technology; facilitating program and project scope, business requirements gathering, and implementation planning with project sponsors and key stakeholders; leading requirement elaboration and actively driving solution design; coordinating program and project planning and execution with cross-functional project managers, external consultants, application managers, business managers, development, and QA staff; managing within a matrix environment with resources and services provided by centralized teams; clearly communicate verbally and in written form, the status of the program and underlying projects to both senior business and technical management; and guiding and mentoring junior business system analysts and project managers/coordinators.

Minimum requirements are: Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Finance, Information Technology or related field; and 10 years of hands-on software development, business/systems analysis, or project management work experience .

Must have: Demonstrated functional experience with Credit Risk application systems related to Counterparty Management, exposures, Probability of Default and Limits Management; proven track record of successful implementation of different risk and compliance projects for Enterprise Risk Management at various banks, including Basel implementation, SCCL compliance, Entity Management System, internal rating approach-based surveys, credit approval systems and risk data reporting repositories; understanding a bank's business model from the perspective of product exposure, credit risk policies and exposure calculation methodologies like Waterfall and Agile (Scrum and Kanban); ability to assist in driving the implementation of Service Oriented Architecture by reuse of global systems, standards and components to support event driven architecture; comprehensive knowledge of developing and maintaining Credit Risk IT infrastructure, that adheres to internal corporate IT polices, industry best practices with a sharp customer focus; hands on experience in all phases of SDLC beginning from requirement gathering to development to deployment and production support; well versed with different SDLC methodologies; knowledge and Experience of handling large application migration challenges; demonstrated experience leveraging Data Lake and Big Data technologies to come up with innovative solutions for business problems; knowledge of Informatica MDM tool, Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL developer, JAVA/JEE, Hadoop Big Data solution, Moody's RiskOrigin, Solr search and Microservices; experience managing UX/UI (User Experience / User Interface) resources; proven ability to effectively manage time and balance priorities; proven analytical skills to interpret business and functional requirements and come up with appropriate technical solutions; strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; and demonstrated experience working in the financial information technology industry.
