  • This position is involved with the implementation of business system projects for Bain Executive Network, Bain Advisor Network and Leadership Recruiting. This person will work closely with BAN/BEN/LR and IT teams to implement systems according to the BAN/BEN/LR system strategy. Responsibilities for this role include collaborating with the team to define business requirements, creating functional specifications, developing project plans, managing project related communications, and maintaining continuous system improvement on a go forward basis.

    • Participates in system(s) implementation
    • Collaborate with senior members of BAN (Bain Advisor Network), BEN (Bain Executive Network), and Leadership Recruiting on system strategy and change management needs
    • Gather, analyze and synthesize business requirements
    • Conduct interviews, surveys, focus groups and/or workshops with stakeholders and end-users as needed
    • Develop recommendations on system needs and share with key stakeholders
    • Facilitate the creation of business requirements, detailed functional specifications, process flows, use cases and screen mock-ups
    • Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to ensure technical solution will satisfy business needs
    • Facilitate project communications to ensure all necessary stakeholders are informed
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure processes facilitate new or updated technology
    • Involvement in all phases of systems projects including: definition and planning, communication, project tracking, testing, reporting, rollout, project closure/post launch support.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to update all training materials, system documentation and end-user communications consistent with system enhancements
    • Maintain the system(s) going forward
    • Implementing configuration changes, testing and training
    • Participate in feedback sessions with customers to gain insights and validate assumptions
    • Ownership of end to end analysis requests, including advising on data nuances, providing suggestions on methodology, and preserving the security and integrity of the data
    • Create, monitor, tweak reports and dashboards
    • Manage system upgrades, including developing and executing test plans, identifying system dependencies and highlighting risks
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    • Bachelor’s degree required with a strong academic record
    • Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience with at least one year experience in systems related role with practical experience in gathering and interpreting user needs, and defining, documenting and validating requirements
    • Technical configuration and reporting experience required
    • Ability to manage vendor relationships including contracts, RFIs, RFPs, SOWs
    • Preferred experience with SaaS implementation and/or agile development
    • Ability to quickly grasp new requirements, technologies, tools and concepts
    • Experience working in a matrixed environment
    • Excellent business systems knowledge, problem solving skills and analytical capabilities
    • Proven ability to problem solve and take initiative on multi-faceted projects/responsibilities
    • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for understanding and addressing customer needs
    • Ability to self-motivate, flex project role (depending on project needs and requirements) and pro-actively contribute to the team’s success
    • Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
