Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Lead
Coordinate the enterprise risk management (ERM) program and processes for the Bank, promoting risk awareness and management. Facilitate discussions of current and latest risks and mitigating actions with officers and staff of major departments. Analyze enterprise-level risks, including impediments to the successful achievement of strategic goals, and provide support to senior leadership. Design and execute leading methods for risk assessments and reporting, including the use of risk analytics, automation, and KRIs. Develop risk communications to all levels of the organization, including senior management, the Board of Directors and its committees, and System ERM partners. You will report to the Director, Enterprise Risk and Resilience within the Corporate Strategy & Risk department.
Coordinate the enterprise risk management program, including development and management of procedures, project plans, and risk profiles.
Analyze enterprise-level risks, including operational, strategic, reputational, and financial risks.
Facilitate identification and review of key risks with Bank officers and staff to inform decisions and enhance understanding and awareness.
Develop senior management reports and presentations for the Banks Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and other Bank and System partners.
Lead risk assessment workshops and facilitated self-assessment sessions with teams; consult with department management on identified risks, risk appetite/tolerance levels, possible action plans, and ongoing monitoring.
Collaborate with departments to identify and report risk events, risk trends and latest risks that could affect the Bank.
Develop data analytics and risk reporting automation processes that support the enterprise risk management program.
Expected to demonstrate well-reasoned decision-making and communications in situations that involve complex issues and analysis.
You will not directly supervise employees, but leads projects and teams in a matrixed reporting structure.
You will have:
Knowledge and experience normally acquired through, or equivalent to, the completion of a Bachelors degree and a minimum 7 years of job related experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills, with an ability to excel in working with a diverse group of senior leaders and other stakeholders.
Demonstrated excellence in team and project management.
