Fund Finance Corporate Credit Analyst, VP
The Corporate Credit Analyst will be responsible for monitoring a portfolio of Corporate Credit's. The job entails writing credit reports for new deals for approval by the Manager in charge of the Corporate portfolio in addition to Approvers in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). The Analyst will also be responsible for performing regular annual reviews of the credits in the portfolio and managing any amendment's or other credit events, alongside the Manager of the Corporate portfolio.
Other duties will include quarterly surveillance of the Corporate portfolio, which will entail monitoring quarterly financials, compliance certificates and earnings calls. The job requires someone familiar with Corporate Credit markets and the skills associated with that market including Financial Statement Analysis and GAAP Accounting. There will also be partial coverage of Insurance credits and Investment Advisor credits.
The job will likely have occasional client interaction and travel.
Necessary skills include strong knowledge of Excel, in addition to proficiency in Word and Power Point. Finance and Accounting course work are necessary; MBA and/or CFA will be strongly considered. Attention to detail and analytical ability are both necessary for success in the day-to-day work and the long term success of the group.
