IT Portfolio Lead SVP
The Client Program Office is a newly constructed team within State Street with the primary goal of establishing a best practice project management office to ensure a successful client transition to State Street. The IT Portfolio Lead SVP role has the unique opportunity to envision, develop, and implement an IT portfolio with an enterprise-wide impact. The focus on this role is continuous improvement and driving acceleration, efficiency and increased productivity in all aspects of a client onboarding leveraging technology and process improvements. This role will also be accountable for business intelligence and insights across our onboarding activity. A successful candidate has the ability to effectively collaborate and influence across a variety of stakeholders in order to bring about necessary change that will require alignment at senior levels across the company.

IT Portfolio Lead Role is a strategic role responsible for the following:

  • Successfully execute and delivery of $100m+ in revenue portfolio

  • Identify and drive efficiency in onboarding efforts (middle office focus)

  • Build out data and insight reporting strategy to inform business priorities

  • Ensure the appropriate resources from IT, Business and Program Management are assigned and engaged on prioritized projects

  • Oversee development results alignment to business needs

  • Work with IT partners to maintain stable production environments

  • Provide direction for resiliency, maintenance and support, and Omnia initiatives impacting GS onboarding priorities

  • Manage to the approved IT budget for the fiscal year

  • Execute the transformation initiatives to meet projected benefits

  • Establish and communicate the overall vision and provide frequent updates to GS business

  • Quarterly review of GS Business Application Inventory (realize cost savings through application retirements)

  • Update the Senior GS Leadership Committee monthly so they are informed on discussion, recommendations and decisions
