Reportingdirectly to the Head of Relationship Advisors, this role will manage a team ofeight KYC Officers accountable for all client outreach for Know Your CustomerKYC information to satisfy regulatory requirements, serving clients acrossTechnology, Life Science, Wine & Global Fund Banking.
With guidance from the Headof Relationship Advisors, this individual will be responsible for the followingessential functions:Oversee & monitor teams execution
Monitor team cycle times, i.e. time to intakework, research, contact client, submit obtained information back to assignedKYC analyst
Monitor teams production, inclusive ofidentifying and solving for backlogs capacity challenges
Monitor teams engagement with client, toinclude client responsiveness, client communication, and client relevance, i.e.team is grounded in client set-up, segment and industry
Monitor teams quality, to include first touchresolution and quality submitted Request for Information RFI packages to KYCanalyst
Asthis role sits in FLOD, it will be critical that this individual build solidrelationships across FLOD and SLOD to include partnerships with:
FLODRelationship Management, ensuring leaders have visibility in productionvolumes, client impacts and client experience
SLODKYC Teams, ensuring roles & responsibilities across KYC, CAS Resolution andKYC Officers are executed against as defined in teams remit
UK,China & Israel KYC teams, assessing KYC process and impact to client whenclient has SVB accounts in and outside US
Supported by Relationship Advisors BusinessPlanning & Support teams, partner with KYC Analyst team to:
Forecast future volume and assess impact toteam capacity
Group client outreach by parent / childrelationship
Re-balance KYC Officer queues when volumespeak in team member queues
Building KYC Officer Team& Design/Assess Process
As this a new role for SVB, this individualwill help recruit eight KYC Officers to service KYC activities acrossTechnology, Life Science, Wine & Global Fund Banking
Assessing current KYC volumes and determiningteam capacity to support KYC activities relative to new client onboarding,client periodic reviews and KYC remediation's
Building workflow to account for internalpartners and clients, to include KYC Analysts and Relationship Management teams
Building teams initial remit with long-termgoal to scale activities broadly across segments served with team ultimatelybeing aligned to segment & client portfolio
Establishing team KPIs to monitor teamperformance
7 10 years of banking, risk management,compliance or client service experience
3 5 years management experience, leadingKYC and/or client service teamsMust possess a Bachelors degree
