The Product Marketing Manager is a newly created, strategic role in the Global Marketing function. We seek a skilled professional who combines strong investment expertise, a client perspective, and a commercial lens to partner with product management, investors, fund sponsors, client-facing teams, and our client services group to effectively position and communicate our investment capabilities, approaches, and funds externally and internally across traditional and digital channels.

This role is part of a global marketing function with locations in Boston, London, Singapore, and Tokyo. This individual will partner closely with our EMEA product marketing team as well as with our channel marketers who are aligned with our global client-facing teams. Global Marketing also includes teams dedicated to content creation (writing/editing/proofreading), content management (readership optimization and content tagging), design (digital and print), marketing operations and project management, digital marketing, and events.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Review our current investment messaging and materials and identify areas for improvement, bringing an external perspective
  • Analyze, monitor, and provide feedback on industry and peer trends to ensure content and positioning are relevant and compelling
  • Develop product materials and messaging for US funds, partnering with fund sponsors and product management colleagues
  • Define compelling marketing materials for select investment approaches, partnering with product management and investors for investment messaging, and client-facing teams for commercial context
  • Incorporate practices such as competitive intelligence, target audience definition, and market positioning into the development of product marketing materials
  • Lead global campaigns/messaging projects for key investment capabilities, partnering with global channel marketing colleagues
  • Collaborate with GRG and product management on sales training and support


Specific qualifications include:
  • Strong technical product and investment knowledge across asset classes: Alternatives, equity, fixed income, and multi-asset; preference for expertise in alternatives and multi-asset approaches
  • Ability to both create content and provide strategic marketing input
  • Ability to tell product 'stories' through content that will engage a variety of audiences, including institutional and intermediary decision makers
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and intellectual curiosity
  • Flexibility and the ability to partner effectively with others, seek a wider audience, build consensus, influence, and act decisively
  • Effective communication skills, including interpersonal, verbal, and written
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Sense of humor and passion for working in a creative and collaborative environment
  • Grace under pressure; ability to adapt, "roll up sleeves" and get things done
