The Digital Strategy team is a highly entrepreneurial group within Corporate Communications with a wide array of responsibilities, including:
Publishing digital content
Articulating digital goals and analyzing results
Proposing innovative solutions to communications challenges
Supporting the adoption of tools and best practices
Developing and managing digital platforms
The ideal Senior Digital Strategist candidate will bring be an avid learner and bring the perseverance to achieve meaningful change, a team mindset, and the willingness to pitch-in on day-to-day tasks as well as the spotlight grabbing project. Areas of responsibility include web content, constituent relationship, email, and event management systems. Tasks in a single day could range from working on a Python script to extract and merge data from multiple sources, meeting with Information Security to gain approval for a new tool, working with colleagues to define success metrics for a new web feature, and posting time-sensitive web content with extreme attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to juggling multiple, disparate projects will be beneficial. Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams through influence is also desirable.
Candidates with or currently pursuing certification in data science, marketing analytics, or business informatics are strongly encouraged to apply.
Proactively seek opportunities to optimize content and experience of the Banks digital channels.
Work in partnership with key stakeholders and IT (developers, data architects, project managers, etc.) to facilitate innovative technology solutions serving business and communications strategies.
Post and optimize content in content management system(s) for delivery on digital channels.
Act as a key digital content development, optimization, and measurement resource for Bank leadership and staff.
Maintain a schedule of digital content delivery; proactively identify opportunities and resources for content based on relevant, important, recurring or seasonal events.
Track and present analytics for digital content to aid in business decisions and support ROI; making recommendations to adjust content development and dissemination as needed based on data findings and trends.
Identify and share best practices and emerging trends in digital, content and social media marketing
Perform other promotional and support activities as needed, including implementation of new software, website development and support, etc.
Experience in two or more of the following areas is highly desirable
Data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI or Google Data Studio
Contributing to the production or migration of a CMS-driven website/app, such as Drupal, Sitecore, Wordpress (using custom post types or Advanced Custom Fields)
Supporting adoption or migration of a CRM, such as MS Dynamics or Salesforce by an institution
Successfully achieving organizational change using statistical analysis of user data collected via tools like Google Analytics.
