The Role:
Under the direction of the Manager of Trading Applications Support, the Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the ongoing technical support and administration of the firm's Eze Castle Trading/Order Management System and other associated software applications. This support includes writing SQL queries for report creation, managing FIX connections and other interfaces, acting as a liaison with vendors, drafting and executing project plans, and interacting with traders and portfolio managers on trading related issues.
 
This position requires an individual who is both self-motivated and detail oriented; able to exercise discretion and independent judgment; a strong communicator who is comfortable interfacing across multiple departments and with individuals at various levels of the organization.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Managing time sensitive daily processes that update the order management system and provide extracts and reports.
  • Addressing urgent trading issues / questions related to: FIX connections, data including real-time market data, infrastructure, etc.
  • Coordinating with multiple vendors to address issues and enhancement requests.
  • Developing new custom reports.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities from one or more projects. 
  • Develop and execute User Acceptance Test Plans
  • Effectively support multiple priorities from one or more projects


Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 5+ years of experience providing support in the equity trading / asset management industry
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or Business Administration 
  • Experience working in securities industry
  • Strong working knowledge MS SQL
  • Experience with Order Management Systems (Eze OMS or CRD)
