Senior Technical Business Manager
Job Description

The Senior Technical Business Manager role will play a key role in supporting senior leadership with execution management of business-driven initiatives and business system support across the equity, option and advisory trading environment. This role will work with the Vice President, Equity & Options Trading to provide effective progress management across multiple operational and strategic objectives including communication of key milestones, key risks / issues and proposed solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and leadership across multiple complex projects within Equity, Option & Advisory Trading to ensure the overall scope, design and implementations are tracking to stated deliverables. Identification and communication of risks and issues requiring leadership awareness or decisioning.
• Provide thought leadership to identify and design effective solutions for complex trading initiatives impacting trading systems, processes, and regulatory reporting. Leads collaborative meetings across business and technology subject matter experts to deliver effective solutions within established deadlines.
• Oversight and facilitation in partnership with Trading, Compliance, Legal, Business Controls and Leadership for risk incidents and FINRA inquiries.
• Creation of business presentation materials to support the oversight and execution of business strategies. Conduct periodic briefings/status updating business leadership and program committees.
• In leaderships absence, represent strategic priorities and overall objectives in business meetings.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• In depth knowledge of Equity, Option & Advisory trading processes and systems or other relevant experience.
• Strong desire for problem solving, obtaining the source of truth, designing, and implementing system enhancements to achieve operational efficiency.
• Proven track record implementing regulatory changes, preferably in a securities trading environment.
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to summarize complex concepts into concise senior leadership communications.
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to effectively oversee multiple complex projects while being able to shift priorities to meet the business environment needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Series 7
• Experience with PowerPoint, Excel and Visio
• Experience with project methodologies
