Consultant, Information Security Operations

• Identity Access Management teams are responsible for providing end to end services to support internal employees to retrieve access to Mastercard systems and applications, including physical security access.
• The Identity Access Protect and Govern team within Corporate Security is focused on operational support within the Identity Access Management space, enhancing existing identity access operations through automation, and execute on strategy of access being an enabler for the business' needs.
The Product Owner (PO) is a member of the Agile Team responsible for defining Stories and prioritizing the Protect and Govern Team Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities. The PO has a significant role in quality control and is the only team member empowered to accept stories as done. The PO role has significant relationships and responsibilities outside the local team, including working with Program Management and sequencing work in their teams and managing dependencies across other teams.

About the Role:
• Meets with stakeholders to discuss and elicit under-the-surface needs and translate them into features, user stories and technical stories (when needed).
• Participates in Feature Decomposition meetings to pull together Operations and Application team SMEs into collaborative discussions to reach a shared understanding of feature requirements and captures required information in CA Agile Central (ALM).
• Facilitates story creation in ALM with Scrum Masters to facilitate team story backlog development.
• Actively grooms and prioritizes the product backlog ensuring work is ready for the Operations team.
• Facilitates backlog grooming sessions articulating the what and why of each user story enabling the Operations team to define the how in each session.
• Responsible for gathering information from lead technical resources (Operations delivery team and application teams) if more detail is needed to develop story and feature requirements in ALM.
• Responsible for contributing to successful feature throughput and feature lead time goals.

About You:

• Experience leveraging agile tools to facilitate agile ceremonies.
• General interest and passion for agile and learning agile practices
• Relevant experience in requirements gathering, specifically user story creation, and relationship building with business clients
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Prior project management experience working with agile teams
• Familiarity with Kanban, the Scaled Agile Framework, Agile, or Scrum processes
• Exposure to agile work management tools such as CA Agile Central
• SAFe Certified Product Owner or other Project Management certifications would be preferred
• Experience in facilitating Agile workshops geared toward features definition and prioritization.
• Experience leveraging story mapping to define business value increments and breaking stories down to their smallest value increment.
