AVP - Global Talent Acquisition Operations - Remote
Job Description This position is responsible for:
  • Activating our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), internally and externally, and creating and executing our Employer Brand strategy, positioning Moody's as an employer of choice
  • Optimizing our investment in job board partnerships and TA tools and technology and managing our vendor relationships to leverage our partnerships and drive results
  • Governance and optimization of our global TA process
  • TA reporting, institutionalizing our TA dashboard, and driving the function towards data driven decision making and a continuous improvement mindset
  • TA Project Management
  • Staying up to date on TA best practices and new TA solutions to address opportunity areas and solve business problems
  • Partnering with Finance and HR Chief of Staff on TA budget process, quarterly tracking and external search spend

The role will manage the TA Operations Associate as well as implement multi-region or global changes by liaising directly with the Regional Heads of TA, while routinely interacting with Moody's HR colleagues (particularly HR Service Delivery and Employee Experience), Corporate Communications, and Business leaders.

EVP and Employer Brand Strategy
  • Develop plans to activate our EVP internally and externally in partnership with Communications and Employee Experience team and develop a distinct talent brand for Moody's
  • Develop a strategy and roadmap to position Moody's as a talent magnet utilizing our social media footprint (LinkedIn, GlassDoor, Instagram, Twitter) and maximizing our paid Job Board partnerships (Indeed, Professional Diversity Network, eFinancial, Naukri, PowerToFly, Mogul, Fairy God Boss) bringing our talent brand to life
  • Partner with Communications to develop ongoing broad and targeted talent marketing communications for company intranet, social media / job boards and for Talent Community members
  • Optimize Candidate Relationship Management system (Talent Community) and develop standard operating procedure for the global team to ensure we are building and maintaining an active and engaged pipeline of diverse talent
  • Ensure our Career Site, internal Career Hub and Social Media / Job Boards are up to date with engaging content that promotes our EVP and drives
  • Relationship management of our global TA vendors to drive partnership and ensure we are measuring effectiveness, optimizing our investment and continuously drive performance
  • Partner with TA teams and Corporate Communications to ensure brand appropriate materials and collateral are created for conferences or recruitment events

Data and Metrics
  • Ensure that the TA Dashboard and other meaningful analytics on TA performance are provided to the business on a regular basis and quality controls are in place to ensure accuracy
  • Conduct data analysis and use TA metrics to provide insight into performance. Leverage data and analysis to make recommendations and drive change and improvement within the TA function
  • Develop presentations and reports to deliver updates to business leaders
  • Lead audit recruitment procedures to ensure HR data accuracy and minimize organizational risk

Projects and Process Improvement
  • Partner with TA Leaders and HR Service Delivery to drive consistent implementation of global recruiting processes and procedures, raising issues and identifying potential mitigations
  • Manage global TA projec t s of various sizes and complexity; report progress against key milestones and ensure success
  • Design processes across the globe to ensure consistency and standardization where possible
  • Draft global TA communications and presentations for TA, HR and business leaders. Maintain and enhance documentation of TA policies and processes to create efficient and effective hiring practices and compelling candidate experiences

Strategy and Leadership
  • Partner with TA leaders and HR Partners to understand areas of concern and implement strategies and changes to address
  • Understand future state needs and develop strategies to meet business requirements and hiring goals
  • Gather intelligence, conduct research, and identify market trends for talent acquisition processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity

Manage the Recruiting Operations Associate to deliver high quality support to stakeholders and to drive globally consistent process changes

  • Undergraduate degree level education required, masters degree strongly preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other Project Management certification required
  • Ability to provide thought leadership using data and analysis in an analytical and metrics driven organization
  • Self-starter and able to operate with minimal supervision

  • 7+ years of HR experience with at least 5 years of focused in a Talent Acquisition function
  • 3 years of experience leading Employer Brand / Employer of Choice strategy
  • 2 years of experience leading a team and training / coaching junior team members
  • Broad, diversified analytical experience and the ability to use data to influence decision making and to drive improvements.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide projects and process improvements.
  • Track record of resolving complex issues or challenges that do not have routine solutions

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Advanced Excel skills, Microsoft Project and Visio a plus.
  • Previous experience working with Applicant Tracking Software, CRM and HRIS system required, IBM / Kenexa and WorkWise preferred
  • Previous project management of an enterprise wide HR / TA system implementation experience required
  • Analytical nature; ability to assess data, draw conclusions and recommend improvements
  • Project management and process improvement leadership
  • Ability to anticipate issues/needs and to work proactively to address them
  • Takes initiative, works proactively, ability to manage multiple priorities and to meet deadlines. Self-starter with ability to work independently or as part of a global team
  • Provide value-add TA and Employer Brand knowledge to influence talent decisions and strategies

  • Leading, coaching and mentoring junior TA team members
