POSITION SUMMARY:

This role will serve as the Product Owner for the Yes to Done Program Lead Team. This role is responsible for defining stories, prioritizing the Program Lead Teams backlog and ensuring that the team is achieving its objectives to plan work one program increment ahead of our development teams. This individual will have responsibility for the business case and KPI metrics and reporting, and they may have additional work efforts that theyre driving for the Program Lead Team. Yes to Done is a strategic initiative, driving the development of an integrated, digital onboarding solution. The program is following the Scaled Agile Framework and working on an accelerated delivery schedule to ensure compliance with the SEC Regulation Best Interest requirements.

Responsibilities (principle tasks, duties and responsibilities of the job):

  • Plays significant role in preparing for and participating in Program Increment (PI) planning, ensuring that the lead team understands its objectives and deliverables for each PI, including developing the stories and sprint schedule for the PI

  • Maintains the lead teams backlog and facilitates planning for each sprint to define stories and acceptance criteria

  • Understands the scope of work for our development teams, the program vision, and prioritization of what the lead team needs to accomplish to prepare the development teams for their work in the next PI

  • Facilitates sprint demos and retrospectives

  • Responsible for KPI dashboard reporting, working across the business to intake and understand metrics, and provide regular reporting as part of established program communications

  • Responsible for further development of the program business case, establishing benefits across all teams impacted by the program

  • Provide additional program support and consulting

Required Skills (Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities to enter the job):

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services or applicable business environment

  • Experience as a Scaled Agile Product Owner

  • Experience with user-facing business applications including sales, middle and back-office tools

  • Experience building business cases and developing KPI metrics and reporting

  • Significant attention to detail

  • Bachelor's degree

Desired Skills (Preferred not required)

  • Strong product management, business and systems analysis, execution, and analytical reporting and tracking skills

  • Ability to be the primary bridge between business users and technology development teams.

  • Extensive knowledge of financial products and services, specifically focused on investments and retirement planning

  • Ability to build and develop strong, interactive business relationships across a variety of departments and management levels

  • Strong analytical skills and desire to continually improve client and user experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong time management skills, navigating a significant workload with minimal resources. Ability to manage, prioritize and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
