As part of the Information Services division, Ford Equity Research provides investment research in the form of fundamental data, stock selection models, stock ratings and analytical tools to professional investment managers.
The role is equity analyst located in the San Diego office with the primary responsibility for collection and analysis of financial data for a portion of the Ford U.S. database.
Enter the key responsibilities of the role:
Update quarterly earnings, investigate and correct discrepancies between Ford database and SEC filings, maintain quarterly and annual statement checks for a portion of the U.S. database.
Collect and maintain data on new companies added to the stock universe.
Monitor, assess and maintain corporate action information.
Assist in implementing new procedures for managing valuation data and produce documentation on new procedures.
Update database from third party data feeds.
Perform backtesting and update model performance reports.
Maintain model portfolio lists and produce periodic performance reports
Collect and maintain dividend information.
Ad hoc projects/special studies as directed.
