Job Summary

The Global Procurement and Vendor Management Team (P&VM) is seeking a Vendor Management Team Leader to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the design and build of a globalized P&VM Team. The ideal candidate will report directly to the Global Head of P&VM and will be a critical, strategic role in managing and optimizing over $300M of annual supplier spend. This role will be responsible for the building a long- term vision for our third party suppliers including supplier on and off-boarding, contract management, supplier risk categorization, relationship management and supplier risk management. This role will collaborate and partner with Procurement and key stakeholders across the organization to deliver strong results, reduce supplier risk, decrease spend and increase spend transparency.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Set strategic direction for the supplier management organization
  • Define and build core capabilities focused on supplier risk categorization, contract centralization and supplier governance resulting in action plans to streamline processes and control and reduce overall supplier costs
  • Create and design the supplier relationship management function
  • Create and design the supplier governance review strategy and partner with key stakeholders
  • Develop and implement supplier governance review strategy
  • Manage the financial viability of third party suppliers and proactively manage supplier risk
  • Build/mature supplier and contract management tools in partnership with the Procurement organization


  • Robust interpersonal skills - self-aware, accountable, and empathetic
  • 10+ years of experience in mid to large corporate environment preferably financial services industry
  • 10+ years of experience driving end-to-end supplier management capabilities
  • Proven ability to build global supplier management teams and processes across large-scale organizations
  • Demonstrated project management and management consulting capabilities
  • Supplier diversity strategy experience
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Skilled at influencing others through growth and change
  • Undergraduate degree required
