All companies + Hiring difference makers. ☰ RFP Response, Lead Writer New Nuveen 2 days ago Post Date Apply for Job Share this Job SUMMARY:  Responsible for supporting the client servicing efforts of Nuveen and TIAA with respect to its various registered products. This includes the preparation and distribution of RFIs and due diligence questionnaires for existing client and consultant relationships. In addition, will assist in the monitoring and prioritization of workflow and resources based on volume and staffing to meet RFP and client servicing deadlines.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  The following duties are generally representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive

Provide on-going (monthly, quarterly and other recurring) standard due diligence coverage to home office analysts, institutional consultants and other external partners as requested on behalf of Nuveen Fund Advisors
Complete on-boarding questionnaires, fund review due diligence questionnaires, fund fact sheets, etc. across National Broker Dealers, Independent Broker Dealers, RIA, Bank & Trust, DCIO, and Global and affiliated distribution channels for fund approvals, additions, and activation
Interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Compliance to review and obtain approvals of referenced materials
Respond to internal and external inquiries (i.e., performance, country/sector allocation, portfolio holdings, and portfolio characteristics) for various investment strategies across Nuveen affiliates
Develop relationships with individuals at all levels within the firm in order to gain a strong understanding of the organization and the ability to develop specialized content
Monitor and access workflow tool to assign work to various team members
Mentor junior team members to ensure client issues and concerns are understood and promptly resolved and contribute to the staffs overall development
Monitor e-mail inboxes for incoming requests and set up requests in the workflow management tool
Monitor process for prioritization of workflow and resources based on volume, client procedures and service levels to meet requested deadlines
Ensure that complete and accurate information is communicated to teams responsible for completing the work
Perform miscellaneous job-related functions and ad-hoc projects as required

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelors degree
Minimum 5 years of industry experience
Experience working with a workflow management tool such as Nintex, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
Experience in preparation of RFPs and due diligence questionnaires a plus
Possess the ability to quickly develop an in-depth institutional and/or retail investment marketing and business sense
Strong knowledge of the retail and/or institutional investment business and investment strategies/products
Demonstrated success in process and project management skills

Interpersonal/Communication/Language Skills:
Highly organized, self-motivated, strong work ethic and a strong sense of ownership
A self-starter who can work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to perform under pressure along with being able to organize and prioritize competing requests to meet deadlines
Strongly developed critical thinking and writing skills
Ability to analyze and problem solve
Crisp and clear written and verbal communication skills, with ability to build strong working relationship with senior sales, service, and product professionals
Detail-oriented with strong project management skills

Superb proofing (attention to detail) and editing skills
Strong financial and analytical skills

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Series 7 or the ability to obtain within 6-12 months of employment. (May also be required to obtain Series 24)
