TIAAs Financial Reporting Systems team of the Corporate Controllership Department is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst.  The Financial Reporting Systems team is the center of excellence for accounting and finance technology support and development for TIAAs broad lines of business.  This includes governance around our ledger and financial reporting platforms.  This position is responsible for the technical administration around Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), PeopleSoft (PS) General Ledger (GL), and Oracle Data Relationship Management (DRM) while enabling appropriate accounting functionality.


 Core SME administrative support for HFM, PS GL, and DRM
 Liaise with business partners across Office of the Chief Financial Officer

  (OCFO) to resolve issues and gain needed information to independently

  execute on daily operational tasks and strategic long term projects
 Liaise with core IT Technology support staff to address system

  implementations, enhancements, and to troubleshoot production issues
 Liaise with Oracle Consultants for overall HFM design for industry best

 Support departmental projects such as BEPS Country by Country Reporting

  and additional Oracle HFM application implementations
 Maintain PS and DRM metadata for various OCFO reporting requirements
 Maintain FDMEE data load rules and mapping as it relates to 5+ ledgers
 SME for Smart View usage and query setup for BEPS
 Maintain knowledge and familiarity with industry updates and support

  implementing relevant procedural changes
 Work collaboratively with peers to manage resources, enhance work

  processes, and improve overall service delivered to internal and external client

 Maintain knowledge, familiarity, and documentation of business processes to

  enhance and promote sound internal control practices
 Work on complex problems of diverse scope (i.e. interface errors, accounting

  reconciliations, accounting transactions, etc.)
 Undertake and manage special projects and other reporting needs as required

 Bachelors Degree
 5 plus years of financial reporting systems administration experience
 Two plus years experience in financial reporting and financial analysis in a

  corporate environment

 Technical system administration experience with HFM, PeopleSoft, and DRM.
 Hands-on skills in detailing / documenting business processes
 Experience is developing complex work papers to evidence sound financial

  reporting controls
 Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to collaborate with others as

  appropriate; ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems; ability

  to help develop problem solving skills among other team members as

 Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent

  demands, and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
 Proven ability to work as a business partner with all levels of management to

  improve processes and reporting requirements
 Excellent communication skills, including listening, speaking and writing
 Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize

  workload with attention to detail
 Experience with leading small teams is a plus
