Implementation Specialist
What you'll work on:
  • Manage and execute projects for the implementation of various IHS Markit solutions to our new and existing clients, as well as in-house projects.
  • Where applicable, the Implementation Specialist is responsible for leading a completion of onboarding of a client, as well as post-go-live support in the days, weeks or sometimes months following go-live.
  • Maintain relationships with various client personas during the course of the project, including key stakeholders, project managers, project team members, technical personnel, users, etc.
  • Assist customer with integration activities, using methods such as web services, data feeds MQ and FIX.
  • Provide expertise of cross product integrations and data flow
  • Work across various IHS Markit solutions covering all the various asset classes and products
  • Partner with Account Management to provide top level service by leading new initiatives that provides further solutions to the needs of our existing clients.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining best practices for organizational processes.
  • Documentation of client implementation runbooks.
  • The role requires and builds exceptional client facing skills including professionalism, leadership, salesmanship and responsiveness.
  • It also requires and builds exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Management of priorities and the ability to handle multiple demands in fast paced environment is a key strength of the team.


What we look for:
  • 3-5 years of project/Implementation management and client facing experience with a Bachelors degree from a top-tier school.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of and experience in relational database, design, query languages (e.g. SQL), ETL or other technical areas is required.
  • Client facing experience with ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to grasp various types of integration methods such as web services, MQ and FTP.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects.
  • Passionate about working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
